Book Station is a space coordinated according to the principles of openness and attention, of respect for the child, a space of peace and kindness, a space of travel in beauty and story. Listening will be a metaphor for the many relationships that will be cultivated here, as well as respect for the many values of dialogue and exchange between children, between child and adult and between adults who accompany the child in the learning process.
Our goal in the BOOK STATION is to create an empathic context to listen to the child, to give information and value, to create levers for relaxation, to be attentive, to assimilate information through reading, to take him to the world of stories or knowledge. reference.
The concept belongs to Versus Association and is coordinated by Bianca Mereuta. The project started with the population of some educational units in Cluj-Napoca and aims to populate every year 5 new spaces, both in rural and urban areas. Project pilot was realised with the support of the City Hall and the Cluj-Napoca Local Council.
The first locations where the project was implemented are :

“LIVIU REBREANU” GENERAL SCHOOL, CLUJ-NAPOCA, represented by Mrs. Adriana Lucaciu
BOOK STATION offers:
- a single point of interest for the students when they enter in the classroom;
- a place to gather with pleasure at the morning meeting and start from there, reading, the work routine;
- the journey of education with a break to read together to the world of imagination.
