Rotary Club Cluj-Napoca Cetățuie awarded Merit Scholarships worth 3,000 RON to middle school students from rural areas – 2025 Edition
Merit Scholarships 2025 – Rotary Cetățuie
Rotary Club Cluj-Napoca Cetățuie has concluded a new edition of the “Merit Scholarship Program”, dedicated to 7th and 8th grade students from rural communities. After an intense period of applications, evaluations, interviews, emotions, and joyful moments, eleven exceptional young people were selected to receive scholarships worth 3,000 RON each but even more importantly, the trust, support, and mentorship of a community that believes in them.
“We met incredibly courageous, mature, and thoughtful young people. We were deeply moved by their stories, by the maturity with which they speak about their future, and by their desire to make the world a better place. We are honored to stand by their side,” the organizers shared.
The selection process was rigorous and included an evaluation of academic performance, extracurricular involvement, motivation letters, and individual interviews.
Beyond financial support, the eleven scholarship recipients will benefit in the coming months from career counseling sessions, mentorship, and opportunities to engage in impact-driven projects alongside members of Rotary, Rotaract, and Interact Cluj-Napoca Cetățuie.
